Santa Claus Hire in Ballarat

Santa for Ballarat and the Central Highlands

Ballarat Christmases have a character of their own. Evenings stay cool even in December, so a red suit is rarely a problem, and families tend to turn out in big numbers for twilight events, street celebrations and heritage precinct nights. We supply Santas, Mrs Claus and elves for all of it, from a single home visit to a full season of sessions.

Book a Santa has supplied Santas since 2007 and trades with a network of 500 performers across Australia. For Ballarat we match a suitable performer from the region or a short drive away, and every one of them holds a current Working With Children Check and is professionally trained.

Ballarat is a popular choice for workplaces, schools, sporting clubs and community groups, and December dates fill quickly. If you have a weekend in mind, get your quote in early.

Events we are often asked to cover in Ballarat

Heritage and tourism attractions in the region, similar in style to Sovereign Hill, often want a Santa who suits the period feel of the place. Tell us the look you are after in the quote form and we will match a performer and costume accordingly.

Other common bookings include shopping centre photo seasons, Santa arrival parades, school and kinder visits, workplace lunches, club presentations and carols evenings in local parks and gardens. Cool evening events work well for lights, hot chocolate and a later Santa session once the sun goes down.

Travel and booking notes for the region

Ballarat sits about an hour and a half from Melbourne, and many of our Central Highlands bookings combine several stops in one day. If you are running events in Creswick, Daylesford or Bacchus Marsh, ask about a multi-venue program so the travel is shared.

Peak times are Saturdays and Sundays in late November and December, especially late morning to early afternoon. Regional dates fill fast, so book early. Once your Santa is confirmed, your client portal gives you free simple flyers to promote the visit. We suggest waiting until performers are confirmed before you advertise.
